film: Film Washi "X" / camera: Canon A-1 / developer: C-41 / scanner: EOS 40D
This roll ended up mostly being an excuse to mess around with a couple new accessories for the A-1 - the Data Back A, the big ol' Speedlite 533G in the self-portrait, and the Motor Drive MA was responsible for the "action shot" with the pizza.
Also my first try with this "Film Washi X" film, whatever it actually is - it's some kind of repackaged technical film, but all I've been able to figure out about it is that it's probably intended to be developed in the C-41 process. Film Washi sells it as a "maskless color negative film" that can be run as either C-41 or E-6 depending on your interests and use case - C-41 for digital scanning (it's not really suitable for RA-4 prints, but it scans like a dream because of the clear base) or E-6 for projection. I'm a big fan of the colors, and it comes out extremely flat (most of these are at about +14 on the digital contrast), so it's probably got a fair bit of exposure tolerance as well. I'll definitely be picking up another couple rolls next time I stock up on film.
